Import Documents to B2B Console

Oracle B2B is used when we want to communicate with trading partners and want to exchange message in pre-defined manner. Document builder is IDE which is used to generate ECS and Schema file.

We use B2B console to import above created ECS and schema file. In this Post, we will show you how to import document to B2B console.

Login to B2B console, to do that open http://host:soaserverport/b2b http://localhost:8001/b2b

Go to Administration tab. Then click on “Document” tab.

Now we will add document version under document protocol. For this post, we are using “EDI_X12” document protocol. To add new document version click on “New Version” button.

B2B_DocumentVersion

Provide version name.

B2B_VersionName

Click on “New Type” to add document type under document revision.

B2B_Newtype

Provide Document Type name and functional identifier.

B2B_DocType

Click on save and to add new definition click on “New Definition”.

B2B_def

Provide document definition name. Browse schema and ecs file generated from document builder.

Below is the final structure after document is imported to B2B.
