Oracle B2B is used when we want to communicate with trading partners and want to exchange message in pre-defined manner. Document builder is IDE which is used to generate ECS and Schema file.
We use B2B console to import above created ECS and schema file. In this Post, we will show you how to import document to B2B console.
Login to B2B console, to do that open http://host:soaserverport/b2b http://localhost:8001/b2b
Go to Administration tab. Then click on “Document” tab.
Now we will add document version under document protocol. For this post, we are using “EDI_X12” document protocol. To add new document version click on “New Version” button.
Provide version name.
Click on “New Type” to add document type under document revision.
Provide Document Type name and functional identifier.
Click on save and to add new definition click on “New Definition”.
Provide document definition name. Browse schema and ecs file generated from document builder.
Below is the final structure after document is imported to B2B.
